Company: AlphaSenseDate: October 2020 - January 2021
The project
Prior to the January 2021 CMS migration, AlphaSense was reliant on a developer to hard-code any website changes – from a new landing page to a sentence tweak. This limited the team's efficiency and ability to scale.
We engaged a digital agency for a 3-month sprint to templatize previously hard-coded pages and migrate them, design and build new digital experiences, improve Google Analytics tracking, and clean up Google Tag Manager.
The process
As the project lead, I worked directly with the AlphaSense CMO and digital agency to bring this vision to fruition within a short period of time.
Evaluated varying CMS platforms, performed a site audit, established site processes and governance, launched a web design style guide with SEO principles, and managed the launch and QA of the CMS migration
Led the strategy and execution of the blog and case study web launches including stakeholder requirement gathering, defining rules and template logic, scoping and updating Figma mock-ups with design, and managing the launch and QA process with the development team
Helped clean up old tags and introduce new tags in Google Tag Manager. Integrated event tracking for the first time and enhanced goals-based tracking within Google Analytics.
